Professionalism: well structured, informative introductions to their work delivered in a very un “sales” like fashion.  Not at all pushy.  This attitude continued throughout the work with all of the team.

Timeliness / Speed: started as promised and, whilst there were inevitable minor delays in some elements of the work, kept me aware of the reasons for these and worked hard to get back on track.  In all, a two bedroom conversion completed in just over 3 months during a very busy period for SLL

Attention to detail /Quality: many firms I have used where a “package” of services are supplied, the most basic materials and finishing has been used.  I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of materials, fixtures and fittings included as well as the attention to detail and finishing (even our decorators commented on the quality of the work).  I compare this directly with neighbours who have used other builders and loft companies and still feel that the work in our conversion is superior.

We saw their work at a friends house and decided to convert our own loft. We contacted SLL on our friends recommendation.

Craig was very helpful with all the planning and provided a great advice. Once work had started, the building team worked very hard with the minimum of disruption to our lives. The quality of the work was excellent, especially the carpentry and plastering, even drawing praise from other builders on the house.

The job was done very efficiently and completed on time and on budget and SLL were already competitive against other firms we spoke to.

I am writing to let you know that my wife and I are really pleased with the work that South London Lofts have done to add a new room to our loft.

Having someone in your home when you are at work is always difficult and all of the guys have made every effort to make this painless and chaos-free. They were really friendly and polite when on the job. They would always sweep up and pack away their tools each night to reduce the mess in our home. They even washed their cups after having a cup of tea.

In particular, I wanted to mention the efforts of Saulius who was our lead carpenter and managed the first fix. Saulius and and his team worked efficiently and made excellent progress. At one point a problem arose with our bathroom and he made a considerable effort to listen to what we wanted and then used his knowledge to achieve this. He was always patient and calm with us and very willing to do extra work to be sure we were getting what we wanted. He made a real difference to the end result.

I also want to tell you about the excellent standard of service that our project manager, Ramunas, has provided over the eight weeks of this job. He has turned up when he said he would, he has answered any questions that I had as quickly as possible and he has always been willing to meet me at home to go through more complicated questions.

It os clear that Ramunas takes great pride in his work. He would often check that we were happy with the work so far and would arrange for any changes to be made if necessary He has years of practical experience behind him, which means he understands what his guys are doing at each stage and could answer any questions for us there and then.

On top of all this he is a likeable guy. He is friendly and has a great sense of humour and would always greet me with "Hello, Mr Ben!" in such a way that would always make me smile. He is a real asset to your team.

You have a great bunch of guys on your team and I am very pleased with the work done by South London Lofts and will continue to recommend you to our friends.
