Hip to gable

If you are a semi or at the end of a terrace with a pitched roof you have a number of opportunities. Just by extending the ridge of the roof to the end and building up the end gable gives a surprising amount of space - bust most of our clients go further.

You can then build dormers onto the hip-to-gable extension. Just one, usually at the back, can mean a single large bedroom overlooking your garden from a considerable height - or go for a double dormer and you can have too good-seized rooms and probably a shower room and/or WC as well.
