Extension & Loft Conversion
This Streatham Hill loft conversion is freshly approved by Lambeth Council – and we’re sharing it early as it’s a watershed moment in planning permission in the borough.
This particular type of loft conversion –
a full L-shape mansard conversion including two bedrooms, a dressing area and a shower room – was not only approved but serves as a gold standard example of what’s now possible in Lambeth.
In the 26 years we have been working in the area, Lambeth council never used to approve projects with rear addition extension like this. They resisted any developments over the rear addition roof space area – so it’s a massive shift in policy to finally allow a great deal of extra space where it’s needed.
