Rear Dormer Conversion
This property is not the largest we’ve worked on, so the extra space was welcome to this customer. There wasn’t much 1st floor landing space, so the new staircase was position through the existing front bedroom partitioned off in a new extended hallway, there was enough space remaining for a good size bedroom on the 1st floor
Going up into the new loft space over the new stairs we positioned a large velux window for much needed light in the new stairwell area. In the loft there was a good size double bedroom, with plenty of light from 2 large velux roof windows at the front and 2 sliding sash wood windows in the dormer extension to the rear. An ensuite shower room was positioned at the rear, it’s an attractive surprisingly spacious result from a small property
My neighbour did his loft conversion a few years’ ago and I was really impressed with the quality of work carried out by South London Lofts. Their price was more than reasonable, too. And so I have used South London Lofts on another project – I am perhaps the ultimate satisfied customer!
